Magento is a very popular eCommerce program with online store owners. The way you can design Magento stores is unique. This of course leads to creating your very own branded store. There are however some things to consider when designing your store. Let’s look at just three design tips.

Tips to design Magento stores:

Color:

Design Magento

A recent study by Seoul International Color Expo suggests 92% of people consider color an important part of the buying experience.

Color is foremost on the list. However before you start dreaming of a Picasso style store, you need to consider a few things. For example what type of products do you sell.

Another thing to think about is whether you want to bring forword your offline store online.

There are also certain colors which don’t look that good on certain browsers. Always make sure to check your chosen color on all the most common browsers to prevent any color issues.

In addition to the basic color scheme, the color of your fonts is also a most notable issue. Stick with basic colors like black, white and blue.

Navigation:

Think like your customers is a great advice. Navigation is the key to how easy your store is to browser. Customers love to do their shopping quickly with plenty of navigational signs or breadcrumbs.

Clear cut categories are another way to help your customers find things easily. Arrange your products in easy to find ways. Also use plenty of images in the category section.

Product Display:

And finally another great way to help your customers is via product arrangement. A great description, plenty of images and also include product videos when available. Let your customers see and feel your products, just like in an offline store.
